Today, in Tampa, Fla, a Navy reservist tried to murder a Greek Orthodox priest from Crete as a "terrorist." The reservist claimed the non-Arabic speaking Greek had yelled "Allah Akbar." (God is Great) When arrested, Naval Reservist Jason D. Bruce told police the priest had tried to rob him. Thus, America's honor is defended again. Two idiotic wars, two phony invasions and lots of hate crimes, the number, we will never know. We do know 99% of what we hear is lies. Vietnam was a lie. Iraq was a lie and Americans are dying in Afghanistan over more lies. Perhaps we could spread the hate out a bit. We seem to have so much of it.
Hate or Ignorance.. Hate and Ignorance.. gas and fire.
The fundamentals of the problem of our nation can be attributed to a growing population, a falling average IQ/education, an overburdened and underfunded education system, desensitization, more diversity, less tolerance, and people with agendas from every conceivable angle of the spectrums those factors generate.. stirring the pot.
The motto of Kentucky is "United We Stand, Divided We Fall." This country can become more fractured. Will 'we' allow it?
An enlightening read. Best I have read on the subject, anywhere. It has it all. Thanks for seeding. These nine words say it all for me:
Anyone who chooses to believe a liar is a fool.
Obviously I have seen a lot of narrow minded bigotry in the press, blogs lately after the ft hood instance. I was surprised that on the first day some how ABC news reported (even before any one else) that the guy (shooter) was a Syrian who went to school in Damascus University. Later it came out that he was born and raised here in US and went to school in US. When you see that kind of manipulation of the news had started from the very first moment, you think what else there are the truth and lies coming through to us.
